Astrobiology is the branch of biology that investigates the possibility of life elsewhere in the Universe.(dictionary.com)

Those interested in doing science studies on and off planet will benefit from taking some robotics and rocketry courses, in order to learn how to design study equipment to function well in extreme conditions. Please visit these pages on this site. Astrobiology, Astronomy, Robotics, Aviation, and Rocketry are taught in Astronaut Alan Shepard's home town of Derry N.H. at Pinkerton Academy. A school he once attended. He later became a Pinkerton Academy Board of trustee member.

WHAT IS ASTROBIOLOGY?

"If someone said before the flight, 'are you going to get carried away looking at Earth from

the Moon?' I would have to say, 'No,no way.' But yet when I first looked back at the Earth,

standing on the Moon, I cried."
