The Emerald Ash Borer and What It Means for You with Dode Gladders, UNH Cooperative Extension Forester in Sullivan County, NH. The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) was first found in NH in 2013 and has since been confirmed in 30+ towns in 5 counties. This exotic insect is widely considered the most destructive pest in NA. It has killed millions of ash trees in the eastern US. Topics will include preparing for EAB’s arrival, how to identify infested trees, new and exciting management options and the ash quarantine.
